Forum Rules

FORUM RULES

1. Posts containing advertising, solicitation, or cross-solicitation of any kind are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, posts containing personal contact information (SFI ID numbers, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, etc.), as well as URLs to SFI-related resources outside the SFI Affiliate Center NOT created and maintained by SFI Corporate (such as blogs, online videos, Webinars, training pages, and Websites created by Team Leaders/Sponsors, individual Affiliate Gateway pages, etc.) and links to TC Member and ECA-specific items and TConnect pages at TripleClicks.
2. The SFI Forum is NOT for "rants" or complaints. All complaints should be directed to the SFI Support Desk at: http://support.sfimg.com. Similarly, the SFI Forum is not for questions about your account that can only be answered by Support. Remember, the Forum community is primarily made up of affiliates, who cannot access your account details. If you have a specific question concerning your account, submit a ticket instead of posting on the forum.
3. You may freely include links in posts for sfimg.com and tripleclicks.com, provided the links being used do not violate rule #1. Links to general, outside resources (such as www.google.com, www.sba.com, www.usps.com, www.forbes.com, etc.) must be directly related to the thread and not in violation of rule #1.
4. Do not post disparaging comments or allegations directed at SFI, TripleClicks, or your fellow affiliates; and under no circumstances should you name names. We expect all our forum members to be civil and respectful to each other at all times. We're all here to work and accomplish great things together. So KEEP IT POSITIVE!
5. Do not post comments or engage in discussions regarding a Spin & Win contest while it is in progress, nor posts or discussions about the current Time Machine contest during its entry period.
6. All posts must be related to SFI, its business opportunity, programs, or products. An exception is the "Just For Fun" area, where you may discuss friendly, non-business related topics OTHER than politics, religion, or other divisive topics.
7. Conversations at the SFI Forum among members of different SFI downlines must remain AT the Forum. Attempting to move conversations outside the Forum is not allowed.
8. Please do not post topics, questions, or concerns that have already been addressed at the Forum. Please review existing topics (or use the Forum Search) before posting. Answers to frequently asked questions/concerns are also available 24/7 at the Support Desk and at Ask SC.
9. When posting on the SFI Forum, you grant permission to other SFI affiliates to republish your post (for use in newsletters, e-mails, etc.) PROVIDED the post is attributed to you, the original author, by name.
10. Copyright restrictions and fair use regulations prohibit content--including images, large portions of text, or entire articles (even with attribution)--created and posted on sites outside of SFI/TripleClicks to be posted to the Forum. Doing so may constitute copyright infringement that could have significant legal consequences for the affiliate and/or SFI.
11. Avoid typing in ALL CAPS or all bold. Others will translate this as yelling.
12. Do not post unrelated comments or questions in existing threads. If you have a non-related comment or question, start a new thread.
13. Do not post only to earn badges, cut and paste content copied from elsewhere on the Affiliate Center that does not add value or worthwhile commentary to the Forum, or submit posts that do not add to the conversation. When posting or replying to posts, make sure you have something to say. Posts that only say things like "Me too!" or "I agree" do nothing but clutter up threads and discussions. They invalidate the "Newest" index and they waste bandwidth and server space. Threads that turn into a series of no-value posts will be locked or deleted.
14. Use emoticons and other symbols to indicate the tone of your posts and communicate more effectively with other forum participants. Excessive use of emoticons, colors, styles, etc., however, is strongly discouraged.
15. With the exception of use within the My Country/My Region Sub-Forums, all posts must be submitted in ENGLISH.
Violations of any of these rules may result in bans from the Forum or suspension of your SFI affiliateship.
Special note: We reserve the right to edit all posts.
FORUM MEMBERS: Please help us keep the SFI Forum a positive and valuable resource for everyone by using, when needed, polite reminders of these rules (refer them to this page).

FORUM TIPS

1. A great way to keep up on all the latest happenings is to regularly visit the NEWEST and NEW REPLIES indexes. Click the NEWEST tab and you'll be presented with the newest threads (and older threads with the newest posts). Click the NEW REPLIES tab to see all the threads you've opened with replies you haven't viewed.
2. When browsing various thread indexes, you'll see helpful icons beside each thread. These include icons to the left of the thread indicating regular threads, SFI Corporate threads, and threads started by Forum Gurus. Other, smaller icons appear to the right of the thread indicating sticky threads, "hot" threads, etc. Hover over these icons with your mouse for clarifying tooltips.
3. Keep your posts as concise as you can. Less is usually more. And always use paragraph breaks to make longer posts easier to read.
4. Like all posts (click the thumbs-up icon) that you feel are above average and/or have valuable content. Doing so makes the Forum more valuable for everyone by making it easy to spot the best posts/answers. At the same time, you'll be rewarding members of the forum for their good work.
5. To help determine the best answers for questions that have been posted, look for posts with a high number of likes (number shown beside thumbs-up icon). A highly-liked post (minimum 35 likes) will display a bronze star. Some posts may also have a "stamp of approval" from SFI Corporate (silver star), or from SFI President Gery Carson (gold star).
6. To identify potentially valuable threads to invest time in reading, look for threads started by SFI Corporate, Forum Gurus, or that have a high number of views and/or replies. To identify threads started by SFI Corporate or a Forum Guru, look for the special icons located in the left column of any thread index (such as Newest and New Replies). The number of views and replies are provided in the right column of all thread indexes.
7. If you are ranked among the top 200 Forum Gurus, your Forum homepage will include the "NO REPLIES" thread index tab. As a high ranking guru on the Forum, your posts are highly valuable. By using this index, you'll be presented with any and all threads that have been started but have not yet received any replies. Any assistance that you can provide on these threads is greatly appreciated!
8. Hover your mouse over certain links, symbols, and images for "tooltips." These brief blurbs will pop up to provide quick and handy clarifications and definitions.
9. On the Categories page, you may click on the circle images to go directly to that sub-forum's index of current threads.
10. Want more details on a forum member? Just click their name to see their full Affiliate Snapshot, which includes all their SFI and TripleClicks badges and more.
11. On any index of threads, hover over the thread link or the author name link to view the text of the post without having to visit the thread or post.
12. When replying with a quote, make sure you don't click in the quote area of the editor window or your reply will look like it's part of the quote. If you inadvertently click in that area, you can extricate yourself by clicking at the bottom of the editor window.
13. At any index of threads, if the large thread icon on the left side is ORANGE, click it and you’ll be automatically taken to the point in the thread where you left off reading the last time. If the icon is gray, clicking it will take you to the first post of the thread.

NEW POSTS & THREADS

Want to start a new thread? First, go to CATEGORIES and choose the appropriate category. Next, just click the "Start New Thread" button located in the top right corner of the index. Enter the appropriate title, tags (see Glossary below), and what you want to ask or say...and submit.
To reply to a thread, click the "Reply to this thread" button at the top of the forum page. To reply to a specific post, simply click the QUOTE button found within every post. IMPORTANT: If you want to make it clear that you're replying to a given post, use the QUOTE button. By using the QUOTE button, the text of what you're directly responding to will be included with your reply post. If you're not replying to a specific, individual post, but rather to the thread in general, that's the time to use the "Reply to this thread" button.

NOTIFICATIONS

So that you may stay updated on forum activity for threads you start, you will automatically receive a notification on your Alerts page each time someone posts to your threads.
You may also subscribe to threads started by other forum members that you are interested in. You'll automatically receive notifications on your Alerts page each time someone posts on the threads you've subscribed to.
You may also sign up to be notified any time someone replies to one of your posts (poster must reply using the QUOTE button). You'll automatically receive notifications on your Alerts page each time someone replies to your post.
In addition to receiving forum notifications on your Alerts page, you may also choose to receive e-mails and/or SMS (text messages) to your mobile device. To access these options, click the "Edit Settings" link located wherever you subscribe/sign up for notifications and check the appropriate boxes.

WANT TO BE AN OFFICIAL FORUM GURU?

Get started by simply submitting quality posts with valuable content and/or that provide assistance to other members of the forum community. Such posts will be be recognized by members of the Forum Guru Voting Panel.
As you accumulate votes from the panel, you'll enter the Forum Guru Leaderboard and you'll be assigned a leaderboard rank. Once you've reached the rank of 200 or better, you'll be officially recognized as a Forum Guru and your forum profile will sport the Forum Guru badge.
Note: So that all affiliates have the opportunity to be recognized as Forum Gurus, points from the votes you receive will decrease 30% each month after one month. In other words, you can't just earn the title of Forum Guru and then stay there indefinitely without continuing to post and receive votes. To be recognized as a top Forum Guru, you must continue to be an active, posting member of the forum.

"WHERE'S MY POST?!"

All forum posts may be moderated before or after posting. As a general rule, once you've proven yourself to be a "good citizen" of the forum (proven = 25 approved posts), your posts will appear immediately. Until you've proven yourself, however, any post you make will be subject to approval before it will appear on the forum. You can make this as quick as possible by strictly following the guidelines in the RULES section above and also abiding by the TIPS.
That said, depending on how many Moderators are on the job at the time of your post, approval could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Why are approvals necessary? Unfortunately, many use public forums to spam, rant, and worse. Because we want the SFI Forum to always be a positive and friendly place, moderation is a necessary evil.
NOTE: Good citizens can go bad. That is, even if you've earned Good Citizen status, any post you make must still strictly abide by our rules and guidelines, and may be edited or removed at any time at the discretion of the forum's moderators. In such instances, you may receive a warning; be banned for days, weeks, or longer; or have your status set to "always must approve posts"--in which case none of your posts will appear until a moderator has approved them. To avoid this fate, always abide by our forum rules.

FORUM GLOSSARY

Category
The SFI Forum is grouped and organized by various categories (also known as sub-forums), including SFI News, Marketing, Pricebenders, Eager Zebra, and many more. To view all available categories, see this index.

A post is a comment or reply to a thread.

Moderators (also known as Mods) are experienced SFI affiliates who have been appointed to moderate the SFI Forum. Moderators oversee all activity on the forum around the clock. Their mandate is to keep the forum a safe and positive place for all SFI Affiliates. They may approve, edit, and reject posts as necessary to uphold the forum rules (see above). Moderators can also issue warnings and ban members.

Guru
Forum Gurus are forum members who have reached the Forum Guru Leaderboard rank of 200 or better, as ranked by members of the Forum Guru Voting Panel.

Tag
So that all posts can be organized and searchable, you are asked to choose up to three "tags" whenever you start a new thread. These tags help identify the topic of the thread.

Locked
A thread can be locked by a Moderator so that no further posts can be added to the thread. Locking is generally used when the primary question or concern of a thread has been adequately addressed in the opinion of the Moderator.

Training Library

From the chapter Learning is the beginning of wealth

Training Library

At SFI, we strongly believe in making sure our affiliates have the training and information needed to build profitable businesses—after all, we succeed only when you do!
That's why we've packed the Training Library at the SFI Affiliate Center with tons of helpful articles, tutorials, and how-tos covering a wide variety of business topics.
Access the Training Library HERE.
Here, you'll find links to exclusive, in-depth advice, tips, tutorials, and more for every aspect of your SFI business.  We've also collected for you expert articles and reports from around the Internet...and much more!
Of course, there's too much information in the Training Library to try and tackle in one or two days. That's why pacing yourself in the "getting started" phase of your business is SO important. Just make a commitment to read one or two articles a day. Within a month, you'll be an SFI expert!

Here are two great quotes that sum it up nicely:
"Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers." –Harry Truman
"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." –Margaret Fuller

In other words, your success in SFI is very much dependent upon reading and learning.  If you want to build a great and profitable business, the Training Library is probably your greatest ally.  Don't try to reinvent the wheel.  And don't spend years learning how to become successful by trial and error–when the Training Library has the answers you need right now, today.
In short, we've pulled together for you virtually everything you need to become wildly successful.  All you have to go read and, more importantly, apply what you've learned.

Learning is the beginning of wealth

The great Albert Einstein once said,
"Learning is the beginning of wealth. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins. The great breakthrough in your life comes when you realize it that you can learn anything you need to learn to accomplish any goal that you set for yourself. This means there are no limits on what you can be, have or do."

We couldn't agree more.  In fact, It's frankly ABSURD to think you can succeed in SFI–or any business for that matter–if you don't also commit to learning all about the business you're in.  Every day, you should be absorbing new information and adding to your knowledge about SFI.  Indeed, there is no other path that will help you achieve success faster.
As you begin to explore LaunchPad and the SFI Affiliate Center, you're going to quickly discover that you have at your fingertips an absolute WEALTH of knowledge, information, and world-class training resources.  What's more, we're continually–every day–adding to our immense "knowledge base."  And as an SFI affiliate, you have complete access to everything.  Take advantage of this tremendous asset we're providing to you and change your life!  Remember, as Mr. Einstein said, "Learning is the beginning of wealth."

Rules of Success

Over the last 70+ years, literally millions of people have participated in our type of business.  And through many years of trial and error—and hundreds of millions of dollars spent on figuring out what works and what doesn't—we have a very clear picture of what leads to success.
Likewise, we have established our own set of rules for success based on our 17+ year history and the investment of literally millions of dollars and hours by SFI and its affiliates.  We have distilled for you all of this into our "SFI Rules of Success."
Why is this important?  Ralph Waldo Emerson once said:
As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The person who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The person who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.
This is sage advice indeed.  In our case, in our TOOLS index, for example, we provide hundreds of methods and strategies for building your SFI business, but if you do not know the principles (i.e. the rules) behind them, a very large void exists in your approach!
SFI Rules of Success is designed to fill this gap and illustrate for you the ABSOLUTE MOST VITAL tenets of our business—rules that when followed bring success, rules that when ignored or violated bring failure!
If you're serious about succeeding in SFI, you'll want to actively start applying these rules to your business in the coming months.
Note: It's not necessary to read the SFI Rules of Success TODAY, but you'll definitely want to soon.  And so that you don't forget, we've put it on your SFI TO DO LIST.  SFI Rules of Success starts with SFI President Gery Carson's introduction HERE.

Getting Smarter Every Day

So far, the LaunchPad lessons have covered a lot of great information about getting your SFI business off to a successful and profitable start. Now, we want to make sure you know about two more sites you should be visiting regularly (if you're not already).

1. SFI's official news blog

This vital SFI site is updated nearly every day...sometimes multiple times in a day. It features the latest SFI news, announcements, and special alerts you need to stay on top of as an SFI business owner and leader.
The SFI NEWS BLOG is located at:
We suggest that you bookmark this page. Better yet, go to SFI NEWS now and SUBSCRIBE to this blog–just click the Follow button in the right sidebar–so you automatically receive each new post by email.
Some great features of SFI NEWS include:
  • You can rate articles and even pull up the highest rated articles for the day, week, or month.
  • All articles are categorized. Example: Want to read all the news about VersaPoints? Just select the category from the drop down menu and you'll be presented with just the VersaPoints news.
  • All news is automatically archived so that you can easily review past news articles.
  • A search feature allows you to quickly and easily search all articles containing just the keywords you're looking for.
  • Easy sharing of posts to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+
By the way, another way to automatically get alerted of SFI news is by following SFI on Facebook and Twitter, and you'll even earn 40 VersaPoints each for doing so (see the Getting Started section of your To-Do List)!

2. Official TripleClicks news blog

As the name implies, this is the central news page for TripleClicks.com. Here, you'll see posts exclusive to TripleClicks, such as about new products, site enhancements and updates, and more.
The TRIPLECLICKS NEWS BLOG is located at:
The TC blog features all the conveniences that our SFI blog does. We also recommend you bookmark this blog and subscribe to it to automatically receive each new news entry in your email.
In addition, you can follow TC News by following TripleClicks on Facebook and Twitter, and you'll even earn a total of 40 VersaPoints for doing so (see the Getting Started section of your To-Do List).

What is the CSA Exchange? How does it work?

Did you know that matching up co-sponsors and CSAs by country has been shown to increase activity in CSAs due to better communications and compatibility in regards to language, culture, etc.?

It’s true!  Using the CSA Exchange, you can actively harness the power of this in your team by exchanging your CSAs from other countries for CSAs from your own country!

Using the CSA Exchange is simple.  Here are the steps:

Step 1: Go to http://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/CSAExchange

Step 2: Choose the ELIGIBLE CSAs view.

Step 3: Select all the CSAs you wish to exchange.  IMPORTANT! You will want to keep your active CSAs, of course.  So only select those CSAs that you’re okay with exchanging for different CSAs.

Step 4: Save your selections by clicking the “Add selected CSAs to Exchange pool” button.

Exchanges will begin automatically--usually within 24 hours, depending on what CSAs are available currently.

Special Note: As you acquire additional CSAs, be sure to visit the CSA Exchange every so often to add them to the CSAs you want to exchange.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Why should I exchange my CSAs?
People like working with others who understand their culture and speak their native language.  By exchanging your CSAs that live in other countries for CSAs that live in YOUR country, you can put this dynamic to work for you.  It’s a win/win!  Your CSAs will have a co-sponsor that they can work better with…and you’ll create more active CSAs that can grow your commissions!

Q: Which CSAs are automatically excluded from my list of CSAs eligible for exchange?
Our system automatically excludes CSAs if they:
* Are from your own country
* Have a current Standing Order
* Are red-flagged in your Genealogy
* Have a confirmed bad e-mail address
* Were EA this month or last month

Q: Will exchanging mean I’ll get active CSAs?
There’s no guarantee that exchanging CSAs will change anything, but we’ve seen good evidence of CSAs becoming active after being reassigned to a co-sponsor from the same country.  But the bottom line is there’s nothing to lose.  If you’re exchanging your CSAs that are inactive currently, you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain by bringing in new CSAs from your country and seeing how they might respond to a new, same-country co-sponsor.

Q: Does this program have any impact on my PSAs?
Yes!  In fact, it could have a VERY positive impact on getting your PSAs more active, and reawakening PSAs that have been long inactive.  This is because all of your PSAs are also someone else’s CSAs.  As they get assigned to new same-country co-sponsors--persons who can personally guide them in their native language and who are aligned culturally--activity could increase substantially!  Yes, a significant boost to overall activity for your entire organization--for every generation under you--could be brewing!

Q: How long will it take for my CSAs to be exchanged?
This will depend entirely on how many CSAs you have to exchange and how many CSAs from your country that are available. Exchanges can potentially start within minutes of choosing your eligible CSAs, but it could take several hours, days, or even weeks to fully exchange them all.

Q: Can I see how many of my CSAs have been exchanged?
Yes, these statistics will be provided at the CSA Exchange Web page, so you can always see the results of your exchanges, how many are pending, etc.

Q: When I receive CSAs from my country, am I allowed to call them and/or meet with them?
Yes, feel free to work directly with all your CSAs.  This is one of the best ways to get your CSAs actively engaged and grow your business.

Q: Will exchanged CSAs know they’ve been assigned a new co-sponsor?
Yes, immediately upon reassignment, we send each person an e-mail letting them know they have a new co-sponsor from their own country.  This notice includes the full name and e-mail address of the new co-sponsor and invites them to make contact.

Q: How can I identify the new CSAs I've received through the CSA Exchange...so I can introduce myself?
The easiest method is through your Genealogy report.  Use the "CSA Assign Date" for your first filter, then "CSA Source = CSA Exchange" for your second filter to pull up your new exchanged CSAs by date.  You can then use the Genealogy's group messaging tool to send them your message.

Q: What should I say in my introduction message?
It’s up to you, but here’s a suggestion:

Subject: I’m your new co-sponsor in SFI!

Hi,

I’ve just received the great news that I’ve been assigned as your new co-sponsor in SFI!

Like yourself, I live in <COUNTRY> and I would love to work with you to help you build a successful business.  SFI is a powerful and proven business platform, and I would be honored, as your new co-sponsor in <COUNTRY>, to help you in any way I can.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Your Name Your email address

Q: Won’t my CSAs be hurt that I’ve given them up to another co-sponsor? It’s possible, yes.  That said, the exchange has been created to provide a mutually-beneficial situation.  You may not be able to significantly help many of your CSAs that live in far-away parts of the word due to language and cultural differences.  But by them getting reassigned to a same-country co-sponsor, you may be giving them a huge gift--a gift that may allow them to really take off and find success and financial freedom in SFI.

Q: Should I stay in contact with the CSAs that I’ve allowed to be reassigned to new co-sponsors?
No.  Once they’ve been exchanged, contact should cease.  If they contact you, you should advise them to contact their new co-sponsor.  Note that if you’ve got CSAs that you’ve become friends with and don’t want to lose contact with, just don’t exchange them.

Q: Does the CSA Exchange take into account how long the CSAs have been in SFI?
No, it’s only looking at their country of residence and matching by country.

Q: Could SFI also provide a PSA exchange?
PSAs are much more complicated because we cannot know that you were the only one responsible for that affiliate joining under you. There could have been multiple upline members who contributed, who generated the sign-up via one of their co-ops, reassigned that affiliate to you, or have otherwise invested in the person (which you may not even be aware of). Hence, we can't allow you to remove PSAs from your group which is what exchanging them would do.  But don't forget that we DO allow you to reassign PSAs within your team (See Reassignment tab in your Genealogy).

The best ways to use the CSA Reassignment tool

What are the best ways to use the CSA Reassignment tool?

07/14/2016
CSA Reassignments are a powerful tool for all TLs (Team Leaders) and up.

Why is this a tool to be excited about? Because by strategically reassigning CSAs, you can provide the incentive for many members of your group to both become EAs and maintain the minimum rank of EA every month!

Reassigning CSAs works exactly like reassigning PSAs. Simply go to the REASSIGNMENT tab on your Genealogy and choose the CSAs you want to reassign and to whom. Reassignment happens instantly and your recipients will receive an email notice of all the CSAs you've reassigned to them.

Note that the email, sent after midnight, is a RECAP of the reassignments received. That is, if you reassign 50 CSAs to someone, they won't get 50 separate notices. Instead, they will receive ONE notice informing them that 50 new CSAs have been reassigned to them by you, and with directions for how to locate them in their Genealogy and start interacting with them.

ROLL-UPS!

One of the best parts of the CSA Reassignment program is that if you reassign CSAs to someone, and they do not maintain their EA rank (or, in the case of someone who has not yet reached the rank of EA, if they do not achieve the rank of EA), they roll back up to YOU!

That's right...it's a great big WIN/WIN! Either your reassigned CSAs create EAs for you...or you get the CSAs returned back to you (and you resume your role as their Co-Sponsor with all the Co-Sponsor benefits you had before).

And for the person who you reassigned the CSAs to--provided they maintain their EA status of course--it's a WIN too, because you've markedly helped them build their team and potentially their commissions, also.

STRATEGIES

If you create strategies based on THE Plan, as you should, your first step should be to identify 1-5 PSAs that you feel have what it takes to eventually advance all the way to Diamond Team Leader status. We'll call them your FDs (Future Diamonds).

It's of course crucial that your FDs maintain at least the rank of EA every month. And this is the beauty of reassigning CSAs. Because affiliates must maintain their EA status to keep their CSAs, reassigning CSAs to them provides a VERY strong incentive to stay active and stay an EA!

Step two: Decide on an appropriate amount of CSAs to transfer to each of your FDs. Keep in mind that you can start with a smaller number and increase it over time. But let's say you've got a significant number of CSAs and you want to make things happen, so you've decided to place 100 CSAs under each of your FDs. You now have 1-5 PSAs with a powerful reason to be EA every month. Congratulations, you've now met the new (as of January 2016) requirement to have at least one EA2 to maintain the rank of BTL!

Step three: If your sights are set higher, if you want to have the rank of STL, for example, you'll of course need two of your PSAs to hold the rank of BTL. How now will you make this happen? In the same way your CSA reassignments motivated your PSAs to maintain their EA status of course! That is, you can reassign CSAs to those in your second generation just as easily as you did to your first generation to provide the incentive for them to go/stay EA every month, too. And you don't have to stop there. It's possible to repeat this process down 3, 4, 5, or even more generations. Hello, Gold...or Platinum...or Diamond!

Of course, while you're acting as an extremely generous sponsor and upline member, you're hopefully also leading by example and teaching all of those you're giving a big helping hand to how to climb the ranks at SFI.

That is, your generosity might be responsible for a couple BTLs on your 4th generation, for example, but those BTLs and others like them that you've helped, now know how to create duplication through CSA reassignments and advance to silver, gold, platinum, and diamond themselves. And when they apply this knowledge, guess what? Your entire group starts getting wider, deeper, and filled with income-generating EAs and Team Leaders! And YOU are on your way to a substantial residual income!

IMPORTANT

It's very important that all Team Leaders understand the following before using the CSA reassignment tool:

When you reassign a CSA to someone in your group, the CSA will no longer appear in your Genealogy (they will instead appear in the Genealogy of the person you reassigned them to). Similarly, when you reassign a CSA to someone, you're also transferring any commissions and Matching VP that CSA currently generates for you to the person you're reassigning them to.

Of course, in the big picture, this should not deter you. Indeed, having a PSA who now is an EA every month because of the CSAs you've reassigned to them, will typically generate larger commissions for you (45% CV Direct Commissions vs. 15% Co-Sponsor Commissions/Matching VP). Moreover, helping several people get to EA every month can manifest itself in invaluable "momentum" that you can create group-wide exponential growth and profits.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Who am I allowed to reassign my CSAs to?
You may assign to any rank (A, EA, TL) as you wish. However, you will only be allowed to reassign CSAs to those of the Affiliate rank during the first ten days of each month. This is so that such persons have enough time to collect the VP necessary to attain the rank of EA (necessary to keep the CSAs of course).

Q: Are there any limits on how deep I can go with my reassignments?
Yes. BTLs are limited to reassigning their CSAs to generation 1. STLs are limited to generations 1-8. GTLs are limited to generations 1-10. PTLs and DTLs are limited to generations 1-12.

Q: Who are the best targets for reassigning my CSAs to?
Helping your PSAs advance in rank is probably #1. Next up, especially if you don't have many active PSAs, is new EA PSAs. New EAs already know how to get to the rank of EA and they're currently active. Feed this! Build on the momentum they've already started for themselves by reassigning them a nice group of CSAs and give them a big extra incentive to go EA next month and every month thereafter!

Q: Is it a good idea to reassign CSAs to currently inactive persons...to try to get them to become active?
This remains to be seen. The only way to know for sure is to TEST it. The nice thing is, because of the automatic roll-ups, there's little downside to testing this proposition. That said, we DO discourage reassigning CSAs to affiliates whom have been inactive for a long time and/or that you've had no contact with. Giving a bunch of CSAs to such persons is PROBABLY not going to "wake them up." And you don't want to stick your CSAs with a bad Co-Sponsor; it could be counter-productive in fact.

We recommend that you focus on currently active persons in your group first and foremost. If you still have some CSAs left over that you want to do some testing with--on currently inactive affiliates--that's up to you. Maybe try some small amounts knowing that they will receive the email notice from us about your gift to them. A better option would be to contact them first and let them know you have X number of CSAs that you're willing to reassign to them if they'll simply reply and confirm they are still interested in SFI. Tip: You can quickly and easily do a group message like by using the appropriate filter(s) in your Genealogy. You might even try some A/B testing to determine which CSA offer gets the best results.

Q: I've heard that matching up CSAs to Co-Sponsors by country and/or language helps. Is that the route I should take?
Our data definitely shows that when affiliates are matched up with Sponsors and/or Co-Sponsors of the same country and/or language, there is more activity. Therefore, where it's possible, we definitely endorse matching via country and/or language when reassigning your CSAs.

Q: I don't have very many CSAs. How can I get more?
Just by maintaining your Team Leader status, you'll of course receive one or more shares of all the new Second Home CSAs each month. Additionally, at Pricebenders auctions, hundreds of CSAs can be won weekly by bidding. All of these CSAs--both of the Second Home variety and those acquired via Pricebenders auctions may be freely reassigned.

Q: Can I use CSA reassignments as a reward/incentive?
Yes, this is a GREAT way to use CSA reassignments. For example, you could inform your entire group (or some subset of your group) that for everyone who goes EA this month, you'll reward them with 20 or 50 or 100 CSAs (whatever amount you're comfortable with). Or incentivize all of your EA2s to become BTLs...or all your BTLs to become STLs, etc. Or "go small" and offer a few CSAs for taking small but meaningful actions each day (e.g. sponsoring an affiliate). Or go BIG and incentivize all your affiliates to become E365 champions with a rewards of, say, 500 CSAs. The possibilities are endless. And, remember, all your CSAs will return back to you if the recipient fails to maintain their minimum EA status.

Q: If a CSA I've reassigned to someone is forfeited and he/she rolls back up to me, can I reassign them again to someone else?
Yes, you can currently reassign a CSA up to two times. And we may consider increasing this limit at a later time.

Q: Since CSAs that I reassign are removed from my own Genealogy, how do I know who I gave my CSAs to?
Very shortly we will be introducing a new report for you. It will provide you with counts of all CSAs you've reassigned and the names and ID numbers of those who you've reassigned them to.

Q: Does SFI notify people that they'll lose their CSAs if they don't keep their EA rank?
Yes. We have a series of emails that are sent during the last week of each month to everyone who has not yet re-qualified as an EA and is, hence, in jeopardy of forfeiting all of their CSAs. We even provide names of some of their CSAs and a count of the TOTAL sum of the CSAs they will lose if they do not regain their EA rank by the end of the month.

Q: Should I teach my "future Diamonds" this strategy of securing CSAs and strategically reassigning them?
If it's working for you, absolutely 1000% YES! This is the very definition of duplication--the most important activity, the KEY to success in SFI! When something is working for you in SFI, teach it to your downline! Doing this is, of course, like cloning yourself, and making it so you can essentially be in "a hundred places at once," 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And the best part is that you can earn override income on what all of your "clones" do. So, YES, always, always, always be teaching your downline what works. They'll win, you'll win, everyone wins!

Q: If someone forfeits the CSAs I reassigned to them, when do they roll back up to me?
Approximately on the 15th of the month following the month of forfeiture.

Q: Is it okay for me to stay in touch with a CSA who I've reassigned to someone?
Because they are a CSA of someone in your downline, they are still, indirectly, part of your team technically, so for support reasons it would be acceptable to stay in contact, yes. However, remember that they will no longer appear in your Genealogy. Hence, you'd have to contact them via your personal email or other method outside of SFI.

Newly revamped Launch Pad

WHAT’S NEW

  • Simplified, streamlined, and with a fresh new and modern look.
  • Mobile-friendly.
  • All lessons have been updated plus lots of new content and topics previously not covered in LaunchPad have been added.
  • More personalized and more customization.
  • The LaunchPad Index now features 11 “core lessons” (chapters) by default.  All but two have “sub-lessons” which may be accessed by opening the “related lessons” panel beside the core lesson. As instructed, ideally, new affiliates should read all the core lessons first, then explore the related lessons.
  • There are currently 11 core lessons, and 50 sub-lessons.  Additional chapters and lessons will be added as needed going forward.
  • It’s no longer 30 lessons over 30 days any more.  Very few followed this guideline anyway, so we’re now recommending that new affiliates review 2-5 lessons a day, as many of the related lessons are brief (though just one a day is fine of course too). In short, everyone should read LaunchPad at a pace they are comfortable with–without rushing through this critical training of course.
  • Easily page back and forth through every chapter using the provided “Back” and “Next” buttons.
  • We are no longer sending an email every day about LaunchPad.  Instead, we will simply allow new affiliates to go at whatever pace they’re comfortable with. Note that all new affiliates are automatically funneled to LaunchPad upon registering and going through the New Affiliate Intro.  We also refer them to LaunchPad in our Welcome email (and so should you when greeting your new affiliates).
  • For simplification, we’ve eliminated the quizzes from LaunchPad.  To collect VP, you now simply need to click the “I’ve reviewed this lesson” button at the bottom of each lesson.
  • Every now lesson awards 5 VP, with 305 total VP available.  Note: Many of you have already collected 300 VP for completing LaunchPad earlier; you will be able to gain an additional 5 VP now by reviewing a lesson for the current 305 VP total.  And when we add new lessons, you’ll have the opportunity to gain 5 new VP each time. Special Note: If you’re an older affiliate who actually collected more than 305 VP prior to today for LaunchPad lessons, you will NOT earn extra VP until your LaunchPad VP total is greater than the current LaunchPad maximum total.
  • On the To Do List and VP Ledgers, we are no longer spelling out the titles of all the lessons (60+ lesson titles is just too much clutter).  Instead, a single line will appear that guides you on how many of the 61 lessons you’ve completed and how many total VP you’ve collected.  Note: At the LaunchPad Index, you can identify which lessons you’ve reviewed and which you have not yet by the green checkmark balls that will appear beside lesson titles.
  • The new LaunchPad is now THE place for getting educated on the basics of SFI and TripleClicks.  It’s for new affiliates and it’s for experienced affiliates for whenever they need a refresher on any key component of the SFI program.  Sponsors: Make sure you are referring your affiliates to LaunchPad.  It is now absolutely THE best place for getting up to speed on everything about SFI and TripleClicks (but without overwhelming details).
  • LaunchPad is now a fully dynamic and database-driven site, allowing for fast and easy lesson maintenance.  It also allows us to customize and personalize every lesson for maximum impact.
  • The new LaunchPad is a very big piece of work, a project that has taken MONTHS to complete…and it’s still a work in progress.  So bear with us as we continue with refinements, add more diagrams, etc.  Also, please be aware that we are looking at other ways to enhance LaunchPad, such as with videos, audio, etc. And we’re of course very interested in your feedback, so use the Suggestion Box at the Forum to let us know how you think we can make LaunchPad even better!
